Could someone explain Adam Driver to me?
His appeal is something Dunham, of all people, figured out: he gives off a Crazy vibe.
As in you contain a sense that he might, at any moment, proceed over the edge and begin destroying things, kick out a window and you;d have no idea what position him off.
If you sat next to him on an airplane, you'd be choosing your words very carefully thinking "I don't wish to say anything to set this guy off."
Crazy can be Sexy for a lot of people and it's the source of his magnetism--the Savage just barely controlled.
His working class background also sets him apart form his Hollywood and UK contemporaries, almost all of whom are college educated, many of who are second generation showbiz and some of whom come from very wealthy families and don't desire to worry about money. So he seems "authentic" in a way most of them don't and again, the Crazy is the "magnetism" you all are feeling. Our bodies are planned to be on alert in the presence of danger.

It was a very gay holiday episode of Saturday Night Live on December 9th. The guest host was actor Adam Driver, who opened up with a dark and twisted monologue directed to Santa Claus where he played the piano and listed his Christmas wishes.
Driver is no stranger to SNL having now hosted the NBC show four times.
One of the episode’s showcase episodes featured Driver as half of a gay couple to Bowen Yang attending a ski trip with a group of friends. During the skit Driver and Yang play a couple who reveal to their friends that they are trying to have a baby, not by adoption, not by surrogacy, but naturally.
As the friends discover the news, Yang and Driver move on to share that they are doing what is right “for them” as a couple, leaving their friends speechless.
They depart on to share more details of how they are ‘trying’ and at one point, Yang’s character says that when they’re done he puts his legs up, hangs off a block and let’s gravity do it’s thang.
The skit also features Heidi Gardner, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Michael Longfellow, and Andew Dismukes. The back and forth between characters is obviously a satire on how cringy stories of conception are, especial
