Make Kate Bishop Homosexual, You Cowards
Hear me out on this one, okay? I could pick any character out of a hat and argue that they should be made gay in the next instalment, but I do actually have a case here beyond ‘I like gays’. I don’t think Hawkeye episode six will confirm anything one way or another - although they won’t know if true love’s first kiss with Yelena will work until they try it - but moving forward, Bishop is going to be a major figure in the MCU, and making her queer would be a huge signal of intent.
Kate Bishop is part of a new wave for the MCU, with Endgame offering something of a reset for the box office behemoth. Before Hawkeye aired, I wrote in reaction to Jet Widow that I felt Bishop would be the key to Phase 4 and beyond, especially with Florence Pugh’s Yelena involved. After seeing Kate and Yelena meet in episode five, I’m even more convinced.

Kate Bishop came out as Bisexual?
Not that I’m conscious of, there’s just the “You’re not that straight” panel with America in Young Avengers Volume 2 :
(Isn’t that panel totally awesome I love it hehehe)
So it was a bit of a stretch on my part to set her as double attraction in this picture in the instinct that it’s not black on pale canon, like it is for David. (I think I put in the tags that it wasn’t official and that of course Kate could be considered to be of other sexual orientations (of course not everyone can read those tags when reblogging etc, so I’m saying it again here :D), as comic canon hasn’t confirmed any super clearly, though I undertake think it’d be best to now consider her to have at least curiosity towards women in that matter.)
So yeah, it hasn’t been confirmed. But, being bi myself, and having other reasons (linked to her backstory, which hits quite cover to home for me, and skillfully, her general awesomeness only makes me love her more on top of that) to cherish particularly Kate and identify with her, I felt enjoy adding her to the picture, as it’s an orientation that’s totally doable for her and has been hinted as possibly canon in the comics. A Hawkeye Fan Ship of Yelena and Kate Bishop May Not Happen - and That's Okay
One thing that Disney's Hawkeyehas made clear is just how many Marvel fans cherish Kate Bishop and Yelena Belova. In fact, there is a call to see these two heroines in a romantic affair , as countless fans own been shipping them online.
This is not surprising. The MCU is starved for queer representation while Kate and Yelena have a natural rapport that frequently seems to border on the flirtatious. Also, while casual fans might not know this, both characters are on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum. However, because of their very specific identities, a relationship between them would not work.

Gender and sexuality each exist on a spectrum. Unfortunately, while Disney will trot out occasional token characters to appeal to fans, the organization has so far refused to highlight any meaningful, nuanced stories or characters that deviate from their very dated sense of cis-heteronormativity. This is not only tragic, but also ironic, considering both Kate and Yelena would almost certainly scoff at this attitude.
