About Us: <br>Originally starting off as a small MeetUp collective known as the Miami's Gay 20-Somethings, the idea came about when immature adult groups started becoming relatively well-liked in other parts of the country.
These new groups were critical in providing an awesome exposure for the LGBTQ community in a way to interact with other people in their age bracket that didn't involve the nightclub/bar life scene. Noting that Miami didn't have anything prefer this at the time specifically for this target audience, a group was set up to address that need.
What had once been just a little collaboration of 20-something year olds on MeetUp, led to becoming an extensive Facebook group of over 800 members, to now serving all age groups as a newly-recognized 501c7 non-profit group consisting of a board, leadership council, and two chapters. About Me
I work for the AHF Healthcare Center - Coconut Grove. I chose to practice HIV medicine because I hold a strong interest and passion for LGBT health which is often overlooked in today's community. I volunteer a lot in my past time. I have volunteered for: AHF/Impulse, Miami Dade Gay and Woman loving woman Chamber of Commerce, Equality Florida, Diet Bank, Soccer Association, and more!
Fun Fact: I am a very active individual and participate in several sports weekly. I am fluent in Spanish and recognize myself as a homosexual. I am passionate about LGBT health, and I live on South Beach and loving it!
