Prime target gay

Leo Woodall and Fra Fee’s gay passion in Prime Target has left viewers wild with excitement and wanting more.

The Apple TV+ thriller see The Light Lotus star Woodall play the role of Cambridge post-grad and queer maths whiz Edward Brook, whileLost Boys & Fairiesactor Fra Fee stars as his hunky love interest Adam.

Created by Sherlock andDoctor Who penner Steve Thompson, the eight-episode series follows the “world’s greatest mind” – Edward – as he exacts a theory about prime numbers that could empower him access to every computer in the world.

Dark forces catch wind of what he’s doing, and attempt to take him down – by any means necessary. It’s up to genderfluid Trinkets star Quintessa Swindell, in role as national security agent Taylah Sanders, who has been quietly watching over him, to assist him in unravelling his theory.

‘Love the plot’

The inclusion of a gay lead has been praised by fans, who have taken to social media to rave about the show’s plot — by which they largely intend seeing Woodall and Fee with very little clothing on, if any at all.

“Love the plot,” one person captioned a gif of Woodall’s bottom.

“Wow the cinematography in Prime Target

TV Series Review

“Math nerds are probably the most risky people on the planet.”

So says Taylah Sanders, a youthful employee for the National Security Agency tasked with watching those math nerds. And they exist some surprisingly engaging lives.

Take Edward Brooks, a brilliant mathematics graduate student at Cambridge. How undertake we know he’s brilliant? Someone mentions it at least every 15 minutes or so. But his brilliance has led him into some dangerous waters: the world of prime numbers.

That’s right: 1, 3, 5, 7, 11 … No, no. Optimal look away now. Before you, too, are chased by murder-minded terrorists.

What—You’re Still Reading? Well, Don’t Say We Didn’t Warn You

Edward does think himself rather clever. Studying at Cambridge University—yes, that Cambridge, where Sir Isaac Newton place the mathematics earth in new motion—Edward believes that the study of math has some grand new discoveries lurking in the shadow of well-known numbers and trig signs. “(New) numbers are out there, just waiting to be found, like expansive, hidden continents.”

He believes that people possess not looked into the mysteries of prime numbers nearly enough. Even though the world is built a

Prime Target review: Leo Woodall is a charmless hero in by-the-numbers maths thriller

Maths also underpins brand-new numbers-focused thriller miniseries Prime Objective (Apple TV+, episodes one and two from Wednesday, January 22). That title wouldn’t look out of place on a cheesy 1980s action blockbuster.

Prime Target aspires to be a sort of brainy action blockbuster. It has fights, shootouts, explosions, chases – on foot, in cars, on motorbikes, even on bicycles – and eye-catching locations: Cambridge, Baghdad, the South of France.

It also has maths. Lots of maths. Imagine The Bourne Identity crossed with Good Will Hunting, but with Leo Woodall instead of Matt Damon.

The 28-year-old Londoner is on a red-hot career streak at the moment. He exuded equal parts charm and untrustworthiness as the Essex wideboy con artist Jack in season two of The White Lotus.

He arrange hearts fluttering and loins tingling (so I’m told, anyway) as Dex in Netflix’s smash-hit quixotic drama One Day. Dex could be a bit of an arsehole, but at least he redeemed himself in the end.

Leo’s latest character, on the other hand, Cambridge undergraduate and maths genius Edward Brooks, is just an arsehole, full stop. H
